In 1st world countries, an agent of the state may make a home visit prior to approving an adoption. In Jessica Simpson's case, they could just watch a second season DVD of MTV's "The Newlyweds".

Expect a New Jessica Simpson Single Soon

Jessica Simpson has moved to a different music label. She switched from Columbia to Epic. There won't be a full album of Simpsony goodness until the end of the year, but we're told to expect an R and B flavoured single very soon. Nick Lachey is signed to Universal, so I don't think the move has anything to do with him.

Jessica Simpson's Charity Work

Jessica Simpson will be in Washington DC this month to speak on behalf of children's charity Operation Smile, an organisation which provides surgery for children with facial abnormalities.

During a well timed trip to Africa last year, Jessica reportedly missed a scheduled appearance on behalf of a children's charity because she was on safari with her dad. my guess is that she will show up for the thing in Washington.
